Madloch's Crossfade Sounds label is delighted to introduce Dutch producer Theiz to the roster with his latest offering, the "Chemistry Of Life" EP. Alongside the title track, this remarkable EP features two additional tracks, "Queensdays Blues" and "Yeah Jazz."

Theiz, also known as Mathijs Schippers, boasts an impressive three-decade-long journey in the music scene. Beginning in the late 90s and early 00s, he released music on esteemed labels such as Eevolute, Techno-Tourist, and Ear-land Recordings. After a hiatus, Mathijs returned to music production in 2015, driven purely by the passion for creating music rather than the pressure to release.

His musical influences trace back to the late eighties, where artists like Ben Liebrand, Bomb the Bass, Coldcut, Pink Floyd, and Tangerine Dream ignited his creativity. Collaborating with twin brothers Tonie and Peter Van der Loon exposed him to synthesizers and the underground music scene, expanding his sonic palette with influences from Detroit legends like Derrick May and Kenny Larkin, as well as Richie Hawtin, B12, and Sun Electric.

Years of experimentation in their studio, combined with regular record-buying trips to Amsterdam and club nights, led to releases under the alias East Island on Eevolute in the late 90s. In 2000, Theiz made his solo debut with "It's Done" as part of Techno Tourist's Various Artists EP, sharing the spotlight with artists like The Moderator and TV99AD.

In addition to his EP debut on Crossfade Sounds, Theiz unveiled a stunning album on ePM music last year, showcasing his versatility and creativity as a producer.
